BIG EAST CHAMPIONS!

WOOO! The Providence Friars win the Big East Title!! I couldn't be more proud of my school! Going back tomorrow and St. Patty's day is going to be even better. It's a good day to be a friar. xoxo Steph

Getting Back In The Groove

This clock was at the restaurant that we went to for dinner tonight, I thought it summed up the week pretty well. Tonight is my last night at home for a month; time to get back in the groove. Time to get back to work, back to my friends, and back to the gym… (yes, I said gym). It's been a great week being with my family and friends and with all of you guys! Time to go watch my team play in the Big East Championships!! Fingers crossed babes! How was your week?! xoxo Steph

Shopping Haul!

Alright guys, I went on a huge shopping haul yesterday at Forever 21. It's a very dangerous place. One you get in there you never want to leave. All of the clothes I got are going to revamp my spring wardrobe so that I can show them all off to my friends at school. Ready?!

  •  Classic Tiered Smock Dress - First off, I am a huuuge believer that you can wear a sundress anywhere at anytime during the spring and summer. Especially for those days that you have no idea what you feel like wearing, you throw a sundress on. Naturally, being the shopaholic that I am, I had to buy both colors in this dress (blue and pink). I am so excited to wear this dress its a perfect lightweight dress and has a partial open back!
  • Prairie Floral Cutout Dress - I loved this dress because of the detail in the back and how it has the cutouts, it just gives it that extra cuteness that makes you want to wear it. Plus it comes with a belt (bonus, am I right?). I'll be wearing this one to class for sure.
  • Black Knit Crop Top - Still trying to find the link to this one-sorry! But this crop top was just so cute that I had to buy it. It is great with high waisted skirts or shorts because its flowy and you can wear it without a bra… enough said.
  • Flower Child Crochet Tank - This tank top is TOO CUTE for words. It has little buttons going down the side and just hangs on you because its a flowy tank. I would wear a bandeau under it, like they show on their website, but its even cute if you just wear it to the beach over your bathing suit too!
  • White Lace Knit Top - I love lace so this shirt was a must-have for me. You can pair this shirt with anything from shorts, skirts, pants, etc. Its one of those tops that you would just keep wearing over and over again.
  • Beachy Breeze Crop Top - Love, love, love these tanks crop tops. They are essential to summer wear and are super cheap (9.50). I think I will get them in all colors.
  • Darling Daisy Print Shorts - This spring and summer I am all about soft shorts, especially the floral pattern ones. Forever had a load of floral shorts so I had to pick out of the twenty that I tried on. I love the bright color of these to give a pop of color to your outfit.
  • Black Cream and Red Skater Skirt - Such a cute skirt. It has a black, red and white waistband and a flowy black skirt and is perfect for any occasion. You could wear this with literally anything, I would probably wear a white, red or black crop top since it is a little high waisted.
  • Dainty Floral Shorts  - These shorts have the lace detail at the bottom which make them have a dainty look and yet still trendy with the floral print. I mean, how many floral things did I buy?
PHEW! I love sharing all of my new purchases with everyone so I will be posting a bunch more of buys along the way. I hope you guys find this fun. I would love to hear some feedback from you! Thanks for reading chicks :)

Back At It

As much as I absolutely love being home for spring break and hanging out with the fan and friends, I think I'm almost, almost, ready to go back to school. I've been watching the basketball games in the Big East tournament for the past couple days and it's getting me so excited that my school is in the championships! I can't wait to be back in the swing of things and finally get back into my gym schedule…. real food has been killing me. I'll probably be posting more at school since I will be daydreaming in class and I'll have much better ideas. See ya in two days prov. MWAH!

What to Pack for Spring Break

Still trying to figure out what to pack for spring break? I got you covered.

1. A cute and casual romper

A romper is perfect for everywhere you go on spring break! Whether its to the mall, to the beach, or just hanging out. Yes please!

2. Cool Tinted Aviators
Who doesn't love a great pair of aviators? I never leave the house without my pair!

3. A Fringe Bikini
Fringe is in HUGE this spring and summer and it looks even better on bikinis. It's a perfect way to stand out from the traditional bathing suits while you're tanning.

These are my three MOST important things for you gals to pack for a non forgettable spring break.
ENJOY LOVIES! xoxox steph

Out And About

My Beauty Must Haves

As a college girl, I always love trying out new makeup ideas and find out what looks best for different seasons. Even though I am always trying new things, I always have the essential products that I use everyday.

A usual makeup look for me right now includes my absolute favorites:

Laura Mercier Foundation  - I cannot go a day without this foundation. It is so smooth and makes your face look absolutely flawless. It has a medium coverage but is not totally matte. I think it is the perfect foundation for a very natural everyday makeup look.

Nars Blush  - I mean, who doesn't use Nars' blush. It's incredible.. am I right? My favorite shades in this blush are either Orgasm or Torrid. Orgasm has more of a sparkle too it and is lighter; Torrid is more pigmented and gives you the natural rosy cheeks that you are looking for. I have tan skin so these shades are perfect for me.

Marc Jacobs Eyeliner Pen  - I am absolutey OBSESSED with this eyeliner pen. It's perfect for making a perfect cat eye or just a very dramatic liner. I use this every time I wear a cat eye (which is basically everyday). When I'm not wearing a cat eye I use the Smashbox Limitless Eyeliner  which is a eyeliner pencil with an attached sharpener (bonus!). This is just a classic eyeliner and everybody should be using it goes on amazingly and always gives you the dramatic or natural look that you're looking for.

Nivea Kiss of Shimmer Lip Care - I carry this lip balm wherever I go and cannot stop reapplying it. Whenever I don't feel like wearing lip stick, like when I go to class, I put this on and it gives my lips a light pink color with a bit of shimmer in it. Absolutely love. Don't walk, run, to get this.

I'll be sharing MUCH more of my favorite beauty products as my blog goes on. I thought I'd start off with my favorites! xoxox steph
